Best friends since high school, Cathy Snead and Kelly McCormack met at Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Florida. Cathy went to University of Florida while Kelly went to Florida State University. Although attending rival universities, they remained close friends.

After college, they decided to backpack through Europe for two months with two other friends.  This is where we discovered their love for travel.  While on this trip, they met several other travelers and loved learning about them and where they had traveled.  Cathy was very organized and kept them on track with an itinerary to see 15 different countries, while Kelly slowed them down a little by wanting to stay in Greece a few more days and by backtracking when she found out it was Octoberfest.  We made adjustments to the itinerary and missed seeing the Black Forest and Portugal, but we sure had fun in Greece and Germany!

While on a boat from Italy to Greece a woman traveling in first class saw us with our backpacks and came to talk to us and brought us snacks.  She explained that her husband did not like to travel but knew that she wanted to, so he saved money for her to travel, and she found this out after he passed.  She had been around the world twice; we asked her about her favorite experience, she said it was a safari in Africa.
